Dr. Jessica Gordon Nembhard is an Associate Professor of Music at the University of California, Berkeley. Her research focuses on the intersection of music, social justice, and environmentalism.

Dr. Adia Harvey Wingfield is an Assistant Professor of African American Studies at Northwestern University. Her research focuses on the history of music and social movements in the African diaspora.
