About the Author
Jonathan Escoffery is an American author. He is the recipient of the Whiting Award, the National Book Critics Circle John Leonard Prize, and the Lambda Literary Award for Memoir. His work has been published in The New York Times, The New Yorker, and The Paris Review.
Escoffery was born in Jamaica and raised in the United States. He holds a BA from Wesleyan University and an MFA from the University of Iowa. He currently teaches creative writing at the University of Mississippi.
